
Viggo Halseth
Viggo joined Nutreco in 1984. He has a longstanding career in Nutreco and had various positions in marketing, general and business unit management within Skretting ARC and Skretting. Viggo studied Animal Hubandry at Agriculture University and Marketing and Strategy Development at Norwegian Business School.

Chris Beattie
Chris Beattie leads MSD Animal Health’s Precision Aquaculture Team, working closely with colleagues in MSD’s Animal Health Venture Group (AHV). MSD Animal Health Ventures partners with companies and invests in bringing new solutions to address unmet customer needs, including advanced digital technologies.
Formerly Global Head of Aquaculture Business for MSD Animal Health, Chris has a background in Marine Biology and a Ph.D. in Fish Physiology from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland where he worked in conjunction with the Institute of Marine Research, Norway. Prior to joining MSD Animal Health, Chris worked in several technical and commercial roles with Skretting in Europe and North America, latterly as General Manager of Skretting North America.

Tim Wallis
Ridgeway Biological’s Managing Director, Tim Wallis, is one of the worlds leading experts onbacterial pathogenesis having done a degree in Microbiology at the University of Leeds, and a PhD at the University of Birmingham studying Salmonella pathogenesis. He headed the Mammalian Enteric Pathogens research group at the Institute for Animal Health from 1992-2005 before leaving the Institute to oversee the expansion of Ridgeway Biologicals Ltd. His research focused on the virulence factors of Salmonella and E.coli that influence colonisation and pathogenesis in food producing animals of these important zoonotic pathogens. Such information is key to the understanding the infection and immunity of bacterial infections and vaccine development.

Randolph is Professor of Clinical Pathology. He is a veterinarian with many years’ experience in the field of fish health. He is especially knowledgeable about drug interactions and therapeutic approaches to disease control.
